Spotlight on Seasoned Chick Angela Rodriguez, IIDA, LEED AP

Angela RodriguezPrincipal Interior Designer, Space as Art
Founder and Editor, NaturallyFL.com

As Principal Interior Designer of Space as Art, Angela enjoys working with clients to bring beauty, life, and functionality to a variety of spaces including restaurants, hotels, spas, offices, retail, and private residences.  She is licensed by the Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design and has earned the designation of LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Accredited Professional by the United States Green Buildings Council.

After graduating from Ringling College of Art and Design with a BFA in Interior Design, academic honors, and several design awards under her belt, Angela went to work for some of the world's top Architecture and Interior Design firms. There, she gained diverse and valuable experience in commercial and hospitality design throughout the United States, Latin America, and Asia.  Later, Angela reached her longtime goal of opening her own design studio when she started Space as Art in 2009.  Angela now aims to create "space as art, places as destinations, and interactive experiences that ignite the senses."

In addition to her passion for design, Angela also enjoys a variety of other creative and environmental pursuits, and has channeled some of these interests into a new project, NaturallyFL.com, of which she is Founder and Editor.  Just launched in April, NaturallyFL.com's mission is to become "Florida's Guide to Natural Living, Green Business, and Eco-Tourism."
